Agents Alliance Services is a leading insurance aggregator located in Denton, Texas. Since 2008, we have been helping insurance agents transition from captive to independent.

An insurance aggregator provides many benefits to agents, however, not all are created equal. The purpose of an insurance aggregator is to combine the premium of a group of independent agents in order to receive benefits that are greater than they would be individually obtained by agents or agencies.

OUR TEAM

Eric Robertson

Chief Executive Officer

Eric started his career aspirations back in 2004. Before Eric joined Agents Alliance in February of 2018, Eric spent 16 years in Agency sales, Leadership, and Territory Management. Eric has a broad background in the industry’s of Insurance, Banking and Finance both as a licensed Agent and in a variety of leadership roles. Eric has done everything from cold calls and knocking on doors to managing Branch consumer assets of 68MM+.

When Eric joined AAS, he started out as a Territory Development Manager in the Southwest. At that time, AAS did not have any Agency presence in these states. Having successfully developed the territory from scratch by knocking on doors, managing & developing Carrier Relations, and creating key partnerships, Eric then went onto bigger organizational roles. While in the position of Director of Carrier Relations, Eric continued to build strong partnerships with P&C carriers, bringing in some of the most profitable carriers we work with today and helped develop a roadmap for State Expansion.

Eric served as the Chief Operating Officer since early 2020, in which he continued to manage Core Carrier Relationships, and oversee the strategic initiatives of AAS. Eric accepted the CEO position in February of 2023 and attributes success to his team and being surrounded by great leaders. Eric believes that to cultivate a culture of success, one must embrace Integrity, Loyalty, Compassion, Innovation, and Collaboration.

Greg McGuffin

Chief Member Officer

Greg joined Agents Alliance in January of 2016 with the goal of adding new members and expanding our national footprint. Before joining Agents Alliance Greg spent 13 years as a territory manager for Travelers Insurance and prior to that was a district manager with Farmers Insurance. With years of experience on the carrier side and spending time managing agents in the captive model Greg brings knowledge and experience that he uses to help our member grow their agencies as well as coaching people on how to make the transition from captive to independent agent.

As Chief Member Officer Greg manages a team of people that support and encourage member engagement and stronger relationships as well as helping new members join Agents Alliance. Gregs passion in business is helping our members grow successful agencies.

In his spare time he and his wife Marsha enjoy traveling the world and experiencing new places, relaxing on Broke Bow Lake and spending time with family.

KYLIE KELSOE-LYLES

Chief Operations Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Kylie Kelsoe drives operational excellence at Agents Alliance Services, ensuring every process aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our members. With a strong background in large commercial insurance and surety, Kylie brings deep expertise in complex risk management and strategic account oversight. Her experience allows her to guide members through intricate coverage needs while building operational systems that scale.

Passionate about leveraging technology, Kylie leads initiatives that streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and empower teams to perform at their best. She is recognized in the industry for championing automation and speaking at conferences on operational strategy and agency transformation.

Kylie’s leadership philosophy is best captured in her favorite quote: “A leader’s role is knowing when to strengthen the swimmers and when to calm the waters—and having the wisdom to tell the difference.”

This guiding principle shapes Kylie’s approach to leadership—balancing empowerment with stability, and always keeping people at the heart of progress. Under her direction, Agents Alliance Services continues to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client-first thinking, ensuring we remain ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.

James King

Founder & Executive Chair

James began his insurance career over 20 years ago working as a sales professional in an independent agency. His professional experience includes a unique combination of business, financial, insurance, and non-profits. James is also an owner of a successful Texas insurance agency. James has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Public Account, Certified Insurance Counselor, and Investment Advisor. James is also a Collaborative Divorce Financial Counselor, helping couples/families understand, communicate and negotiate for their mutual best interests.
